From Monday, July 13 through Saturday, July 18, the Town of Cary will continue work on Southwest Cary Parkway from Kildaire Farm Road through the Old Apex Road Intersection to West High Street. Each day between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., motorists can expect periodic lane closures and traffic shifts and overnight lane closures on each direction of Cary Parkway; one lane will remain open in each direction at all times. Motorists can expect left-turn restrictions at Vinca Circle , Laura Duncan Road and Center Pointe Drive . In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following weekday (i.e., Monday's work will occur on Tuesday).

Also, motorists can expect periodic lane closures on North Academy Street between Cedar Street and the Train Depot driveway on Monday, July 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The closures are necessary for crews to continue work on the North Academy Street railroad crossing improvement project. Flaggers will direct traffic through the area.
