The Town of Cary will perform the following work this week:

• Lanes will be closed periodically on North Academy Street between Cedar Street and the Train Depot driveway, Wednesday, July 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The closures are necessary for crews to continue work on the North Academy Street railroad crossing improvement project. Flaggers will direct traffic through the area.

• Cary Parkway will be temporarily reduced to one lane in each direction from Clancy Circle to High Meadow Drive from Wednesday, July 15 at 9 p.m. until Thursday, July 16 at 6 a.m. to perform maintenance on a waterline in the area.

• Minor lane shifts may be necessary on South Harrison Avenue near its intersection with West Chatham Street on Thursday, July 16 from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in order to complete pavement markings.
