Traffic Alert - Walker Street
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 28, 2009
On Monday, December 28 through Thursday, December 31, the Town of Cary will work on Walker Street and Cedar Street within 200 feet of the Walker Street/Cedar Street intersection. Work will potentially occur in both traffic lanes of each street. Work will also occur on Cary Street from the south end to the Wilkinson Street intersection. Each day between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. residents can expect periodic single lane closures. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following weekday (e.g., Monday’s work will occur on Tuesday). The work is necessary as part of the Walker Street Extension Project.
