Traffic Alert - Walker Street

TRAFFIC ALERT
On Monday, December 21 and Tuesday, December 22, the Town of Cary will work on both directions of Walker Street between Walnut Street and Cedar Street. Work will also be performed on Wilkinson Street between Cary Street and East Durham Road. Each day between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. residents can expect periodic single lane closures. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times. In case of inclement weather, the work will be postponed to the following weekday (e.g., Monday’s work will occur on Tuesday). The work is necessary as part of the Walker Street Extension Project.
