“Lord, what fools these mortals be!” Bond Park is the perfect outdoor setting for this classic Shakespearean romantic comedy. Frolic with Oberon (the King of the Fairies) in the enchanted woods, with impish Puck, Bottom, and “the stuff that dreams are made of...”! Remember, “the course of true love never did run smooth”. This 21st Cary Players production, directed by Nancy Rich, runs October 2-4 and 8-10 at 7:30 p.m.

Bond Park Big Sweep

Do you want to help the environment? Get into action and join others across the state in North Carolina Big Sweep. Do your part to help clean up our water resources. Volunteers of all ages are needed to clean up the shore line of Bond Lake and the streams in Bond Park. Groups, families and individuals are welcome! Children must be accompanied by a parent. Triangle Memory Walk
Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 10 a.m.
The registration for the Alzheimer's Association-Eastern North Carolina Chapter's annual Triangle Memory Walk® begins at 8:30 a.m.; the Walk begins at 10 a.m.
Memory Walk, sponsored nationally by Genworth Financial, is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer education, care, and support programs. Held annually in hundreds of communities across the country, this inspiring event calls on volunteers of all ages to become Champions in the fight against Alzheimer's. Champions include those living with the disease, families, caregivers, and corporate and community leaders. More than $200 million has been raised nationally since the first Memory Walk in 1989.

There's something for everyone at this year's Memory Walk-a Health Resource Fair will run from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.-professionals will be on hand to answer your health or caregiving questions. Bring your whole family-an Activity Center for all ages and abilities will also be available. Music, entertainers, and food round out the day.

BullFrog USTA Southern Section Designated Tennis Tournament
Cary Tennis Park, Middle Creek Park, 8 a.m.– 8 p.m.
This junior tennis tournament features singles and doubles play by boys and girls in the 12’s and 14’s age group. Pre-registration is required. This is a great opportunity to see some high level junior tennis. There is no admission charge
