TOWN OF CARY TO UNVEIL DRAFT DESIGNS FOR NEW WAYFINDING SIGNS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 13, 2009

All signs will point to Cary on Thursday, October 29 from 6-8 p.m. in the Page-Walker Arts and History Center at 119 Ambassador Loop when citizens review and comment on the Wayfinding project draft design. Wayfinding is a series of design elements that work in concert to help people find their way. The Town-wide plan consists of two elements: downtown Cary system signage and a larger Town-wide signage system designed to guide Cary residents and visitors to Town facilities as well as the downtown district. The goal of the plan is to create an attractive, effective, and seamless Town-wide wayfinding system that incorporates elements of the downtown signage and the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources facilities signage. For more, visit Wayfinding at www.townofcary.org.
