Suspect Sought in Cary Church Larceny

CARY, NC – The Town of Cary Police Department is asking for your help in apprehending a suspect who stole a flat screen television from Colonial Baptist Church at 6051 Tryon Road in Cary on December 12, 2009. During the church’s Christmas program, the suspect entered through a side door, removed a flat screen television from the wall in one of the classrooms and exited the building. Video shows the suspect walking around the church facility for about thirty minutes prior to committing the crime.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 26-29 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall, and 250 pounds. He was wearing a green sweatshirt, blue coat, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
