On Thursday, August 6, 2009 , at 7 p.m. at the Page-Walker Arts & History Center , 119 Ambassador Loop , the Town of Cary will present the artist for the Walker Street Extension Public Art Project, Vicki Scuri. During the meeting, Scuri will lead a workshop to collect information for the public art project. Scuri has participated on many design teams for infrastructure projects across the United States , each with a distinct identity and community. The Walker Street Extension is part of the Town’s effort to improve traffic flow in the downtown area and provide railroad safety along an important transit corridor.
