Mark Your Calendars to Attend Public Information Session for Reassessment of Cary's Police Department

As part of its assessment of the Cary Police Department, the Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. is inviting citizens to offer comments about the police department during a public information session on Monday, August 17, 2009, at 7 p.m. in the Page Walker Arts and History Center, 119 Ambassador Loop, on the Town Hall campus. Individuals not able to attend the session may provide comments to the assessment team via telephone at (919) 380-2129 on Monday, August 17, 2009 , from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. or via e-mail at chris.davis@townofcary.org no later than August 18, 2009 . Held every three years, the reassessment is part of a voluntary process that will allow Cary PD to continue its accreditation with the national organization.
