Crime Alert - Maynard Looop Road

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
July 24, 2009

Since February 2009, the Town of Cary has received eight reports of burglaries in the Maynard Road loop area. The suspect(s) are targeting sheds/crawl spaces as well as the inside of the victims’ residences in search of small electronics and power and hand tools. Five of the eight incidences have occurred since June 21 in the Greenwood Forest neighborhood. A green Geo Prism with California tags was seen in the Greenwood Forest area during the most recent incident on July 23, 2009 .

To help prevent these types of crimes, the Town of Cary Police Department reminds citizens to contact police to report any suspicious activity or persons.
