Cary Police Continue Search for Beige Van One Month After Fatal Accident on Green Level to Durham Road

CARY, NC – Nearly one month following the fatal accident on Green Level to Durham Road on June 22, 2009, the Town of Cary Police Department is still seeking help in locating a vehicle involved in the accident; police are seeking a beige van or large SUV with a box-shaped rear, and the vehicle likely has a black paint transfer or scrape mark on the front, left bumper.
On Monday, June 22, 2009 shortly before 1 p.m. , a driver and two passengers traveling in a Lexus SUV were injured in the accident that occurred at the intersection of Green Level to Durham Road and Cary Glen Boulevard; one of the passengers, Kailee Nicole Birdsong, 16, of Cary later died from her injuries.
