As part of the 50^TH Cary Band Day celebration, Walnut Street will be temporarily closed between Southeast Maynard Road and Cary Towne Boulevard on Saturday, November 1 from 5 a.m. until 10 a.m. and from noon until 2 a.m. on Sunday, November 2.  Also, sections of Academy and Walnut streets will be closed near the downtown area between 10 a.m. and noon for the parade.

Also, the Town will temporarily close Ralph Drive to thru traffic from Briarcliff Lane to East Cornwall Road beginning Monday, November 3, 2008 , to Monday January 9, 2009 .  The closing is necessary to complete the street, sanitary sewer and drainage improvement project for Ralph Drive .
