 - TRAFFIC ALERT -

Motorists traveling in Cary on Sunday, July 13, 2008 from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m. may experience delays because of the Triangle Triathlon.  As many as 1,000 cyclists will be using the following roads:

• Aviation Parkway between Winstead Drive and Evans Road

• Evans Road between Aviation Parkway and West Dynasty Drive

• Weston Parkway between Chapel Hill Road and Bathgate Lane

The bridge at Aviation Parkway will be closed from 7 a.m. until 10 a.m.  Motorists intending to travel in the affected area are advised to use alternate routes and to allow extra travel time.   Wake County sheriff’s deputies will be at intersections to ensure the safety of cyclists and motorists.  Course maps can be found at the Triangle Triathlon homepage.
