CARY, NC – You won’t want to miss the Cary Players musical adaptation of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, which will be performed at the Town of Cary’s Herb Young Community Center, 101 Wilkinson Ave. Performances will take place on September 26-27 and Oct 3-4 at
In an outstanding example of a community-based collaboration, in conjunction with this performance, Cary Players and Project Linus will work together to promote Project Linus’ mission of providing new blankets and afghans to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. Attendees are encouraged to bring to the play a donation of a blanket, blanket materials or cash for Project Linus. In exchange for the donation, Cary Players will offer a free concession item and a chance to win in the intermission raffle. Blanket-making materials must be new, unused and free of contaminants such as mold, mildew and smoke, and should be cotton or cotton/poly blends. Blankets must be new, handmade and washable. “At the Town of Cary, we’re constantly working to provide enjoyable, competitively-priced entertainment for our citizens, and the Cary Players’ adaptation of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown is a perfect fit,” said Performing Arts Coordinator Sarah Bunch. “This is something the whole family can enjoy.”
