Cary Police Department Seeks Your Help in Identifying Credit Card Theft Trio

Stolen cards used at half a dozen stores in Cary

The Town of Cary Police Department seeks your help in identifying three people who allegedly used stolen credit cards at several Cary stores, including the Hudson Belk at Cary Towne Center Mall on October 5, 2008 , at 11:50 a.m. , as shown in surveillance photos.   The suspects are described as follows:

 

  • White female, 17-22 years old, 5 feet 5 inches to 5 foot 6 inches tall, 160-180 pounds, brown hair

  • White male, 17-20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 160-180 pounds, black hair

  • Black male 18-23 years old, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150-175 pounds

 

According to Police, the suspects used credit cards that were reported stolen on October 5, 2008 from an unlocked vehicle at 105 Vishay Court .  During the incident, a purse and several credit cards were removed.  The credit cards from the purse were used at various other locations in Cary, including Handee Hugo’s, Circle K, The Cook Out, Pacific Sun, and Pretzel Twist.    

 

“We’re asking anyone with information on these suspects to please call us,” said Sergeant Randy Byrd.  “We also encourage motorists to lock their vehicles and keep valuables out of sight to help deter these types of crimes.”
