POLICE SEEK HELP IN identifying
Suspect used stolen cards to purchase Playstation,
IPODs
While
at Target, the suspect purchased a Playstation 3, four Playstation 3 games, two
IPODs, and a MicroPlush Blanket. The
suspect had also purchased several items at Best Buy shortly after
The
suspect
is described as white female in her late teens to early twenties with long,
brown hair.
“Anyone
with information on the identity of this brazen suspect is asked to contact us
immediately,” said Major Dave Wulff. “Fortunately,
the victim in this case had deactivated many of the credit cards before the
suspect could use them. We encourage
everyone to be proactive and be prepared to respond if your credit cards are
stolen.”
Police
encourage citizens to follow the following tips:

Sign your cards as soon as they arrive.

Keep a record of your account numbers, their expiration dates, and the phone number and address of each company in a secure place.

If you lose your credit or charge cards or if you realize they've been stolen, immediately call the issuer(s).

Carry your cards separately from your wallet in a zippered compartment, a business card holder, or another small pouch.

Report any questionable charges promptly and in writing to the card issuer.

Do not leave cards or receipts in plain view.
Crime
Stoppers will pay up to $2,500 for the arrest or indictment of those responsible
for committing certain types of crimes. If
