There’s no better place to kick off the holidays than at the Town of Cary ’s Annual Heart of the Holidays celebration on Saturday, December 6, 2008 , in downtown Cary .  At 6 p.m. , church bell choirs and angelic voices will perform as part of the tree lighting in front of Town Hall.  Then, the Town will unveil the Community Tree inside Town Hall.  Other activities on Saturday include the Heart of Cary’s Ole Time Winter Festival, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Santa’s Workshop, 10 a.m. - noon ; Holiday Journeys, 3 p.m.-5:30 p.m. ; and the Page-Walker Open House, 2:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.   For more, visit Heart of the Holidays at www.townofcary.org or call (919) 469-4061.
