Come experience part of America ’s musical history as the Marvelous Music Series presents the Fisk Jubilee Singers on Saturday, January 10 at 7:30 p.m. at the Herb Young Community Center , 101 Wilkinson Ave.   Tickets are on sale now for $18 (adults) and $16 (seniors 55 and older) or purchase the Friends & Family Four Pack for $50 (tickets are good for all ages at one individual concert).  Individual tickets can be purchased at the Herb Young Community Center , Monday through Friday, noon-6 p.m. or through Ticketmaster, www.ticketmaster.com or (919) 834-4000.  The original Jubilee Singers introduced ‘slave songs’ to the world in 1871 and were instrumental in preserving the unique American musical tradition known today as Negro spirituals.  For more visit Marvelous Music Series at www.townofcary.org.
