Help Clean Up Cary Roadways by Joining in the Fall Litter Sweep

In support of Governor Easley's proclaimed Litter Sweep clean-up of North Carolina ’s roadsides, the Town of Cary is inviting you to join us in removing roadside litter as part of NCDOT's Annual Fall Litter Sweep. The Town’s team will cover the following areas on Saturday, September 27, 2008, 9 a.m. - noon: Penny Road, from Ten Ten Road to Holly Springs Road; Jenks Carpenter Road, from High House Road to Holt Road; and Louis Stephens Drive. In case of rain, the sweep will be held in Cary on Saturday, October 4. Citizens interested in volunteering should call the Public Woks and Utilities Department at (919) 469-4090.
