APPLY NOW TO SERVE ON CARY ’S PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD AS AN ETJ REPRESENTATIVE

Make a difference in Cary ’s extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ), the area for which the Town of Cary has planning and zoning authority that is not within the Town’s corporate limits.  Volunteer to represent the ETJ on the Planning and Zoning Board that advises the Town Council on land use, zoning and development issues.  One applicant will be selected from Cary ’s ETJ to fill a vacancy for an unexpired term ending on February 1, 2010 .  Applications are being accepted through Friday, April 4, 2008 .  To request an application, e-mail karen.gray@townofcary.org, or call (919) 319-4508.  For more information about the Planning Board, visit the Boards and Commissions section of the Town’s Web site at www.townofcary.org.
