Bring on the Boats and More for the 2008 Season of Cary's Boathouse at Bond Park

                                                                                        April 7, 2008  

   

Cary ’s Bond Park Boathouse, 801 High House Road , has officially reopened, and park goers are invited to rent boats, fishing tackle or purchase concessions at the Boathouse for use at the 42-acre Bond Lake .  Guests can also enjoy the Boathouse’s newest additions, including a new boat dock and a gazebo.  Normal boathouse operating hours are:

 

  • April-May and September-October: open weekends only on Saturdays 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sundays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. ;

  • June-August: Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. , Saturdays and Holidays, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. , and Sundays 9 a.m.-7 p.m.   

 

The following equipment is available for rent:  pedal boats $5 per half hour; canoes $4 per hour; kayaks $4 per hour; jon boats $3 per hour, sunfish sailboats $10 per hour; and trolling motors $6 per use.
