CARY 'S A-Team prepares FOR POSSIBILITY OF WINTRY WEATHER

CARY , NC With weather forecasters calling for the possibility of sleet or freezing rain Thursday morning, the Town of Cary ’s A-Team has begun applying a brine solution to all bridges, major hills and historically icy spots.

“We are fully prepared should wintry weather affect our community,” said Town of Cary Public Works Director Mike Bajorek .  “In addition to our current efforts, we will have eight spreader operators and 10 spreaders on standby beginning at 2:30 a.m. Thursday to spread additional materials as soon as the precipitation begins.  Our priority, should a response be necessary, will be ensuring the major thoroughfares are salted and remain safe.”
