Town of Cary to Repair Water Line Leak on Jenks-Carpenter Road Tonight

CARY, NC After discovering a leak on a portion of a 16-inch water line on Jenks-Carpenter Road between High House Road and Collins Road , Town of Cary crews will be on the scene tonight making emergency water line repairs.  Residents living in this area may notice lower water pressure beginning at 11 p.m. tonight through the repair period, which is expected to continue through Tuesday, March 6.

 

“We’re glad that we are able to reroute the water supply in our system to allow us to make these repairs while still providing safe drinking water to our customers in the area,” said Public Works Director Mike Bajorek. 

 

The leak was discovered during the Town’s routine water maintenance and monitoring efforts.  No traffic impacts are expected.
