CARY POLICE CHARGE DRIVER IN JOGGER FATALITY CASE

CARY, NC – Cary Police have charged the driver of the car that struck and killed Maria Soledad Ponce-Perez while she was jogging on October 23 in Cary; Police issued a citation on Tuesday, October 26, for Beverly Alice Castelli, 51, of 1311 Doylin Drive, Cary for Misdemeanor Death by Motor Vehicle.  A Class 1 misdemeanor, the charge carries up to 1-45 days community service and a fine at the discretion of the court.
