– TRAFFIC ALERTS –

Please see the following traffic alerts for work occurring this week as part of the Tryon Road Widening Project in Cary:

• On Wednesday, September 19 and Thursday, September 20 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily, motorists on Tryon Road needing to access Summerwinds Drive will be reduced into one lane, and crews will direct motorists alternately through the intersection.  The work is necessary to pave the tie-in of Summerwinds Drive to Tryon Road .

• On Saturday, September 22, traffic on Cary Parkway at the Tryon Road intersection will be temporarily reduced to a single lane from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. ; flaggers will direct motorists in an alternating pattern through the intersection.  Motorists should expect at least a 30-minute delay traveling through the area and are strongly encouraged to use an alternate route.  The lane reduction is necessary for crews to pave the intersection of Tryon Road and Cary Parkway .
