TRAFFIC ALERT

The Town of Cary Police Department has temporarily closed all lanes of U.S. 64 East from MacKenan Drive to Edinburgh Drive as a result of an accident involving a tractor trailer and two vehicles.  Police are redirecting traffic to MacKenan Drive to Old Raleigh Road/Edinburgh Drive and back to U.S. 64 East. The lanes are expected to reopen by 3 p.m. today.   Staff members with Cary ’s Traffic Management Center are monitoring the traffic cameras and will adjust traffic signal cycles to help ease congestion in the area as needed.
