Expect traffic delays near the SAS Soccer Park in eastern Cary today to accommodate the Carolina RailHawks vs. Seattle Sounders game.   While no lanes will be closed, motorists traveling near East Chatham Street and its intersection with Southeast Maynard Road can expect delays from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m.   Motorists should use N.C. 54/Chapel Hill Road as an alternate route.

Also, both lanes of Tryon Road between Cary Parkway and Summerwinds Drive will be temporarily shifted north on Monday, June 18 to allow contractors to work on lane widening and stormdrain pipes on the southside of the road as part of the Tryon Road Widening Project.   The signed traffic shift will be in place for 60 days.  Motorists should expect delays during the shift.
