TRAFFIC ALERT UPDATE

 

Expect traffic delays during rush hour today as crews continue their work to restore service at the intersection of Kildaire Farm Road and Cary Parkway after this morning’s crash.  Current estimate puts the road being open around early evening.  Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes including Lake Pine Drive , Old Apex Road , and U.S. 1/64.

Expect traffic delays associated with this morning’s crash at the intersection of Kildaire Farm Road and Cary Parkway to continue into the afternoon as officials now estimate that it may be as late as 2 p.m. before power crews are able to clear the area.  Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes including Lake Pine Drive or Old Apex Road to Maynard Road or U.S. 1/64 to Walnut Street .
