WATER SERVICE RESTORED ON SOUTHWEST MAYNARD ROAD , lane closing STILL eXPECTED tonight

 

Water service has been restored to the homes and businesses that were without service earlier today on Southwest Maynard Road from Griffis Street/Wicklow Drive to Kildaire Farm Road because of the broken waterline. I n order to complete repairs to the waterline, crews still plan to close the southbound lane of Maynard Road at Pond Street from 8 p.m.-11 p.m. tonight to complete the repairs; flaggers will direct traffic through the intersection in alternating one-way patterns.

TOWN OF CARY BEGINS EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO WATERLINE ON SOUTHWEST MAYNARD ROAD , lane closing eXPECTED tonight

 

Water service to about 30 homes and 20 businesses on Southwest Maynard Road from Griffis Street/Wicklow Drive to Kildaire Farm Road has been interrupted while Town of Cary crews work to repair a broken waterline at Pond Street and Southwest Maynard Road .  Crews expect the water service to be restored by 8 p.m. tonight.  The line was ruptured during construction work today for  the Southwest Maynard Road Project.  While there are currently no road or lane closings in the area, crews will close the southbound lane of Maynard Road at Pond Street from 8 p.m.-11 p.m. tonight to complete the repairs; flaggers will direct traffic through the intersection in alternating one-way patterns.
