ONE-MAN CIRCUS ACT TO PERFORM IN CARY AT CIRCUS DAY ON SATURDAY

Local youth set to perform as part of last show of the Spring Sertoma Series

CARY, NC – Cary’s Bond Park, located at 801 High House Road, will be overflowing with laughter when the popular circus act, “Flow Circus”, takes center stage on Saturday, June 23 at 3 p.m.  Flow Circus, a one-man show, features the talent of Paul Miller – a local native who delivers highly-improvisational and off-the-wall juggling, magic and physical comedy.  The free show is the final performance of this year’s Spring Sertoma Series that features the best in free, live, outdoor entertainment each year.

Miller’s 45-minute act is packed with awes and guffaws.  Guests may see five balls dancing in the air, a dare-devil machete and apple routine, a high-in-the-sky blindfolded juggling feat, or a magical card drawing trick.

As part of the show, Cary ’s own young, comical performers will also entertain guests.  Students from Cary ’s annual Clown Camp and Applause! Cary Youth Theatre will tickle everyone’s funny bones with uproarious amusement.

“We’re delighted to welcome Miller to Sertoma Amphitheatre along with Cary ’s most talented youth performers,” said Performing Arts Coordinator Sarah Bunch.  “Don’t miss your chance to catch the last performance of the season in the beautiful, outdoor setting of Sertoma Amphitheatre.”

Born 50 years too late for Vaudeville, Miller decided to juggle balls instead of books after graduating with an accounting degree.  Since 1999, Miller has performed in hundreds of schools, camps, and family events around New England . In 2002, he relocated to Wake Forest to continue his improvisational journey.

In case of rain, inclement weather updates will be available by calling (919) 462-3969, and signs will be posted at the Amphitheatre.
