TOWN OF CARY PREPARES FOR 13^TH ANNUAL KWANZAA CELEBRATION

Everyone is invited to Cary ’s Kwanzaa celebration on Sat., Dec. 29, 2007 at the Herb Young Community Center , 101 Wilkinson Ave. , from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.   Dancers, singers, and spoken word artists will be featured at the event, along with the keynote address by Rev. Dr. William Barber, president of the North Carolina chapter of the NAACP.  Kwanzaa is the seasonal recognition of African-American culture and its rootedness in Africa through programming that reflects community, family and children.  For more, visit Kwanzaa at www.townofcary.org.
