MAKE YOUR MARK ON CARY ’S COMMUNITY TREE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

For the second year in a row, the Town of Cary is inviting citizens to create their ornaments to be hung on the Town Community Tree in Cary Town Hall ! The tree will feature ornaments created by the Cary community and reflect the diversity of the Town.  Groups and organizations are encouraged to create an ornament that reflects the intent or purpose of their organization; all groups that provided an ornament last year will be represented again with the same ornament this year.  To participate, RSVP at (919) 469-4061, and create the ornament using the specifications available on the Town’s Web site at Community Tree Project.  Lastly, bring the ornament to the Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department desk at Town Hall, 316 N. Academy St. by Nov. 26, 2007 .  Then, come to the Tree Lighting Ceremony and Community Tree decorating celebration on Dec. 1 to represent your group.  For more, call (919) 469-4061.
