WE DON’T CALL FOR CASH

Contrary to recent phone calls many citizens have been receiving, the Town of Cary Police Department is not asking for donations.  Because we fully provide the resources necessary to get the job done, the Town of Cary does not support or endorse any efforts to collect money seemingly on our behalf.  Area citizens who get calls from individuals or groups asking for donations to any of the Town’s departments should report the calls to Cary ’s Police Department at (919) 469-4012.  When considering financial commitments via telephone solicitations, be sure you do so knowing that the donation is neither requested nor used by your Town government.  Call (919) 469-4007 if you have questions about the Town’s policy.
