BOND PARK BOATHOUSE REOPENS FOR THE 2007 SEASON THIS WEEKEND

Head on over to the Boathouse at Cary ’s Bond Park, 801 High House Road , as the Town reopens it for the 2007 Season on Saturday, March 31!  Park goers can rent boats, fishing tackle or purchase concessions at the Boathouse.  Normal operating hours are as follows:

• April-May and September-October: open weekends only on Saturdays 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sundays 9 a.m.-6 p.m. ;

• June-August: Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. , Saturday and Holidays, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. , and Sundays 9 a.m.-7 p.m.  

As part of the season opening, the Boathouse will be open daily from April 2 through April 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The following equipment is also available for rent:  pedal boat ($5/half hour); canoe and kayak ($4/hour); jon boat ($3/hour) and sunfish sailboat ($10/hour).  For more, visit Fred G.
