A CHRISTMAS STORY TO BE PERFORMED ON
Special
preview performance on Thursday
CARY
, NC – The holiday TV classic that has
captured the hearts of young ones for decades is once again coming to the Town
of Cary when the Cary Players present “A Christmas Story” at Old Cary
Elementary, 100 Dry Ave., on December 7-9 and December 14-16. Shows
begin at
“Don’t
miss this opportunity for good, wholesome family entertainment from one of the
area’s most talented theatre companies,” said Performing Arts Coordinator
Sarah Bunch.
The
performance will feature local children and adults who bring to life Ralphie
Parker and his quest for a genuine Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas. Philip
Grecian’s adaptation includes favorite scenes from the motion picture
including: exploding furnaces, triple dog dares, and the infamous woman’s leg
lamp.
