YOUTH ENSEMBLE ENDS FALL SERTOMA SERIES ON A GOOD NOTE

–The Town of
Cary
is inviting everyone out to help celebrate the last concert of the 2006 Fall
Sertoma Series featuring The Triangle Youth Ensemble on
Saturday,
October 14, 2006
at Sertoma Amphitheatre at Bond Park,

Directed
by John Brown, Director of Jazz Studies at
Duke
University
, the Ensemble consists of musicians
that play the saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar, piano, bass, and drums.
The Ensemble formed in the fall of 2005 and performed its inaugural
concert at the 2005 Fall Sertoma Series in
Cary
. Since
then, the group has performed at several key events in the Triangle, including
the Martin Luther King Dream Concert, Jazz Appreciation Month Concert and the
Festival on the Green.
“Don’t

fall,” said Performing Arts Coordinator Sarah Bunch.
Each
year, the Town of
Cary
’s Fall Sertoma Concert Series
features the best in free, live, outdoor entertainment.
Guests are invited to return to
Cary
for more live entertainment during the
Marvelous Music Series, another annual music series sponsored by the Town’s
Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources department.
The series kicks off on
Saturday, November 4 with the Hunt Family Fiddlers.
