TRAFFIC ALERT

Cary motorists traveling on Tryon Road between Walnut Street and Royce Drive should expect a new traffic pattern today. Town crews will shift traffic to the new, outer lanes beginning this afternoon as part of the Tryon Road widening project.  Also during the shift, crews will begin constructing medians along the widened stretch.  Motorists should expect minimal traffic delays during the shift.
