Expect heavy traffic delays near the SAS Soccer Park in eastern Cary on Wednesday, June 14 to accommodate the DC United versus Charleston Battery game.  While no lanes will be closed, motorists traveling near the East Chatham Street and Southeast Maynard Road intersection can expect delays and traffic shifts from 5-10 p.m.   Motorists should avoid Cary Town Boulevard and Southeast Maynard Road near Chatham Street and N.C. 54 ( Chapel Hill Road ) during this time and utilize alternate routes.
