TRAFFIC ALERT

Thurston Drive will be temporarily closed near the intersection of SE Cary Parkway , from Wednesday, August 2 at 7 a.m. until Thursday, August 3 at 3 p.m.  Motorists needing to access Thurston Drive should take the following signed detour: SE Cary Parkway to Tryon Road to Wellingborough Drive . The closing is necessary for Town crews to rehabilitate a sewer main under the Kangaroo Gas Station adjacent to Thurston Drive as part of the 2006 Sewer Rehabilitation Project.
