TRAFFIC ALERT

Motorists can expect delays this week on High House Road near Maynard Road because of several events, including the SAS Championship.  Public parking for the Championship is being provided at Bond Park, 801 High House Road , today through Sunday, October 8.  Parking areas open at 7 a.m. with shuttle service beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Also, St. Michael's Catholic Church, 804 High House Road , will host a festival on Friday, October 6, 5 -10 p.m. and Saturday, October 7, 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. that may impact travel in the area.  Festival attendees may park at the Maynard Crossing shopping center at the corner of High House Road and Maynard Road .  Buses will be used to shuttle participants from Maynard Crossing to the church. As part of the festival, the church is hosting a Fun Run at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, and Town of Cary crews will temporarily close one lane along the route to accommodate participants.  The Fun Run will leave out of the church parking lot and turn left onto High House Road , then will make a left on Castalia Drive and continue into the Weatherstone subdivision. Finally, participants will turn right onto High House then back into the church parking lot.
