CARY POLICE SEEK HELP IDENTIFYING PARK VANDALS

 

 

CARY, NC – The Town of Cary Police Department is asking for your help in identifying suspect(s) that may be connected to a string of vandalisms at local Town Parks.  Since September 13, three parks have been vandalized in seven separate incidents, including Rose Street , 110 Rose St. ; Annie L. Jones, 1414 Tarbert Drive ; and MacDonald Woods, 1601 Seabrook Ave.  

 

Two incidents have occurred at Rose Street Park including the latest on October 1 in which vandals burned park equipment valued at $100.  Also, the suspect(s) caused nearly $900 in damage to the restrooms at Annie Jones Park in three separate incidents.  Lastly, MacDonald Woods Park has had graffiti damage estimated at $700 as a result of two incidents.   

 

“Unless there are approved activities, Town Parks close at dark and citizens should immediately report trespassing or any suspicious persons or activities to police,” said Sergeant Allan Murray.
