CARY POLICE ARREST OVEREXPOSED SUSPECT

 

CARY, NC – Cary police arrested and charged John Lowell Briscoe, 37, of 103 Ashton Hall Lane in Raleigh, with three counts of preparation of obscene photographs, slides and motion pictures and one count of indecent exposure.  Briscoe allegedly showed naked pictures of himself to three unsuspecting victims and exposed himself to another victim shortly before his arrest on Wednesday, July 26; all of the incidents occurred in Cary .

 

On July 13, the suspect showed a picture to a victim in the 200 block of West Boundary Street about 1:30 p.m. On July 25, he showed a picture of himself in two separate incidents, one at Food Lion, 900 NE Maynard Road at 12:47 p.m. and one at 1000 N. Harrison Ave. shortly after 1 p.m. In the most recent incident on July 26, Briscoe physically exposed himself to a victim at the swimming pool at Hyde Park Apartments, 200 Hyde Park Court at 1:19 p.m.

 

"We will not tolerate this type of behavior in our community," said Captain Dave Wulff.  "If anyone else feels they have been a victim of a crime by this suspect, please contact us."

 

Following his arrest, Briscoe was held in the Wake County Public Safety Center on a $10,000 bond.

 

Both of Briscoe's charges are Class 2 Misdemeanors, and each count carries one to 60 days in jail.
