CARY
POLICE SEEK HELP IN CAPTURING indecently exposed SUSPECT
CARY,
NC – Cary Police are asking for your help in apprehending a suspect who
exposed himself to a 12-year-old boy at Wake County’s Cary Public Library, 310
South Academy Street in downtown Cary on Thursday, June 15 at 1 p.m.
The suspect allegedly approached a juvenile in the bathroom and
touched the victim on the stomach before someone walked into the bathroom.
The suspect then walked away from the victim; the victim’s parents
later brought the victim to the police station to report the incident.
Because the victim is a juvenile, police cannot release the victim’s
name or address.
The
suspect
is described as a white male, about 40-45 years old, five feet five inches to
five feet seven inches tall, 150-174 pounds, short, dark hair with some gray,
tattoo on right bicep, and was last seen wearing a pink polo shirt, blue shorts,
and black sandals.
“This
was a terrible crime, and we will be working diligently to find the
perpetrator,” said Captain Dave Wulff. “Parents
should encourage their kids to tell them about any suspicious activities or
crimes.”
