CARY,
NC –Cary Police are asking for your help in identifying a suspect that
allegedly robbed the Sun Trust Bank in Kroger, 1273 NW Maynard Road, at 1:16
p.m. on Saturday, December 23 in Cary. As
shown here,
the suspect went to the bank counter and gave the teller a note demanding money
and implying he had a weapon. The
teller then handed him an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect fled the scene by vehicle; the make and model is unknown at
this time.
The
suspect is described as a black male, 35-40 years old, 5 feet 4 inches-5 feet 9
inches tall, 160-200 pounds with facial stubble.
He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, white sweat shirt and blue
jeans.
"We
are asking anyone with information related to this crime to contact us
immediately,” said Sergeant Randy Byrd.
Crime
Stoppers will pay up to $2,500 for the arrest or indictment of those responsible
for committing certain types of crimes. If
