CARY POLICE SEEK HELP IN identifying ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECT

 

CARY, NC –Cary Police are asking for your help in identifying a suspect that allegedly robbed the Sun Trust Bank in Kroger, 1273 NW Maynard Road, at 1:16 p.m. on Saturday, December 23 in Cary.  As shown here, the suspect went to the bank counter and gave the teller a note demanding money and implying he had a weapon.  The teller then handed him an undisclosed amount of cash.  The suspect fled the scene by vehicle; the make and model is unknown at this time. 

 

The suspect is described as a black male, 35-40 years old, 5 feet 4 inches-5 feet 9 inches tall, 160-200 pounds with facial stubble.  He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap, white sweat shirt and blue jeans.  

 

"We are asking anyone with information related to this crime to contact us immediately,” said Sergeant Randy Byrd.
