CREATE AND HANG YOUR GROUP’S ORNAMENT FROM CARY ’S FIRST COMMUNITY TREE

Flat or fat, chunky with a monkey, or painted with polka dots – have your ornament your way on the Town of Cary ’s first Community Tree.  To be located inside the newly completed Town Hall, the tree will feature ornaments created by the Cary community and reflect the diversity of the Town.  Groups and organizations are encouraged to create an ornament that reflects the intent or purpose of their organization.  To participate, RSVP at (919) 469-4061, and create the ornament using the tree project specifications available at www.townofcary.org.  Lastly, bring the ornament to the Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department desk at Town Hall, 316 N. Academy St. by Nov. 27, 2006 .  Then, come to the Tree Lighting Ceremony and Community Tree decorating celebration on Dec. 2 to represent your group.  For more, call (919) 469-4061.
