’S FIRST CERT TRAINING AND HELP
YOURSELF & NEIGHBORS WHEN DISASTERS STRIKE
Become a member
of
Cary
’s first Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and be prepared to respond
after a natural or “man-made” disaster strikes. CERT members are trained to
take care of themselves first and then help others in their communities for the
first three days following disasters such as hurricanes, tornadoes, floods,
winter storms, or man-made disasters. Register
now for the free inaugural class that will meet on July 29 and August 5 from
8 a.m.-5 p.m.
at Bond Park Community Center, 801 High House Road; classes are limited to 30
participants. To register, call the Cary Fire Department at (919) 469-4056.
