STILL NO APEX FIRE IMPACT ON CARY

CARY, NC –Cary—including the Town’s drinking water supply—remains unaffected by the overnight chemical fire in Apex.  Those interested in further information about the incident should call (919) 856-7044 or visit www.wakegov.com.  Only call 9-1-1 in cases of immediate threats to health or safety.

“It appears to us at this time that Cary residents are not going to be directly impacted by the fire,” said Assistant Town Manager Ben Shivar.  “In an abundance of caution, we will continue to monitor the situation over the weekend and continue to offer assistance to Apex Town Government for as long as they need.”
