The Cary Teen Korps chapter was founded in November 2004 and began doing service projects in the community shortly thereafter.  The Cary chapter has 80 teens that are members of the Lochmere Swim and Tennis Club and/or live in nearby neighborhoods.  Through the program, the teens develop leadership skills, hold offices and plan service projects under the guidance of the chapter leaders.  Their goal is to make a difference in their community.
