IT’S A WRAP ON FRANKFURTER FLASHER IN CARY

CARY , NC Town of Cary Police have arrested Edwin Alsie McCracken, 46, of 116 Benedum Place in Cary on one count of indecent exposure.

Known locally as the “Hot Dog” flasher, McCracken was last seen at Kids Together Park in Cary on Sunday, October 16, 2005 , where he allegedly flashed a vendor working at a hot dog stand.   

This is a class two misdemeanor, which carries a maximum fine of $1,000 and 1-60 days in jail. 

“As this arrest shows, we are dedicated to ensuring that citizens can safely enjoy our community’s amenities,” said Captain Dave Wulff.

Earlier this morning, McCracken was taken to Wake County Public Safety Center where he was released on bond.
