MAN FOUND DEAD IN CARY WAS MURDERED
CARY, NC – An autopsy conducted by the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Chapel Hill, NC indicates that the man found dead yesterday behind a Cary convenience store was murdered. The cause of death appears to be a blow to his head.
While police won’t identify the victim until his relatives are notified, they will say that the deceased man was Hispanic, 48-52 years old, about 5’4” tall and approximately 121 pounds. He was wearing a multicolored vertically striped shirt, brown pants, and black shoes. He appears to have been dead for several days.

Police would like to speak with a man who they think might have valuable information about the case. This “person of interest” is described as a black male, 160-170 pounds, slender build, late 30s in age, medium to dark complexion with short hair and a slight overbite. He might be riding a red or black bicycle in poor condition.
“I want to stress that the man we’re looking for is a person of interest, not a suspect,” said Wulff. “We hope that he or anyone who thinks they know him will give us a call right away.”
